Happy Mother’s Day!

A little late, but I was too busy having a great day to sit down and blog :)

Here’s the card I made for my Mom- a CASE of one I saw on the Savvy website.  I just love this color combo.  Embossing the black flower just makes it so much more elegant.

I love this sentiment from A Muse- so perfect.

I had a wonderful day with my family, and some beautiful weather.  We spent the day picking out some annuals and moving around some plants so that we could have a flower bed in the front of the house.  And look what my husband found in the Arborvitae in our front yard…. a beautiful Robin’s nest with 2 brand new baby birds and one unhatched egg.

The babies are hard to see, but we didn’t want to get too close.  The blue egg is just gorgeous.  At first I was afraid the mom wouldn’t come back because we had been digging quite close to her nest without realizing it.  But soon we saw her watching us from the roof of our neighbor’s house.  She kept flying back and forth – sitting on the fence post and the roof until we left the yard for a bit to give her time to get back to her little ones- so sweet :)

Happy Mother’s Day :)

Did you stamp/emboss the flower over patterned paper, or was that over another stamped piece?

    I really love it.
