Tomorrow is my A Muse Calendar Class at The Paper Tree. We’ll be making a calendar similar to this one. Call Michelle if you’d like to join us! 603-624-8800. Hope to see you there!
I had so much fun last weekend in Seattle for A Muse instructor weekend. I am still recovering, and so will have to post those pics later!! Of course, I managed to NOT get pictures with so many people- how did that happen?
Okay, I know I’ve held you off long enough- I don’t think my space will ever be perfectly clean and organized – unless I stop creating long enough to clean it up! SO, I’ve decided to forego perfection, and show it to you as is
This is a view of my part of the room. Just ignore all the stuff on the floor in the right hand corner- that’s going in the closet once my husband puts up the shelves. I got the desk, bookshelf and cabinet from Pottery Barn. Green is my favorite color ever, so I’m loving this desk.
Here’s my cabinet- I love this thing. A Muse ribbons on top, with my different white and cream papers. The top 2 drawers have my A Muse stamps. The bottom has my A Muse notecards & papers. I’ll have to remember to take pictures of the insides of the drawers someday soon – just promise not to comment on the amount of STUFF I have
Bad picture- sorry. This is my bookshelf where I keep more notecards & other stuff like the Cuttlebug, etc. On the left is a file cabinet for my 12×12 papers, and the top two bins (and the trashcan and tool bin from the previous picture) are from Macbeth (very expensive, but too cute). I use these to hold my clear stamps in CD cases.
Here’s the best part of my desk- it has this huge drawer with all these compartments built in – perfect for holding lots of stamping junk like inks, glitter, stickles, etc. I love being organized and having everything close by.
This is not all of the details of the organization, but those will come in a while. I also have this awesome cart I got from Ikea that holds all my “other” stamps, more ribbon, and punches.
Enjoy!

What a beautiful room, Jen! I love all the light! Makes my basement craft room look like a cave … wait, it is a cave!! I had so much fun getting to know you a bit in Seattle and I look forward to seeing you again soon! Hope things went well in NY!

WOW! Your new space looks fabulous! Definitely a place for creativity and I love the colors and those containers, did you get those from the MacBeth collection? Love them.

Your room is so pretty! I love how bright it is! Thanks for sharing!
Your furniture is amazing!!! Those are great pieces almost like they were made for stamping!
Your calendar is too cute I love the shadow you made of the coffee mug!!! It’s perfect!
Your stamping space is out of this world gorgeous! I love it and I loved meeting you last weekend!
WOW!! I am SO jealous of your space! I have to stamp on the dining room table and then put everything away – - :*(
BTW – your shadow under your cocoa cup on your calendar page is awesome!!
It’s lovely! And the light from the window is so soft and nice! Looks just like the Pottery Barn to me!
Hi Jen,
It was really great meeting you today at the Papertree and I can’t wait to take your next calendar class; it’s AWESOME! Your room is beautiful too; we just came from picking up some new pieces for mine. I’m determined to organize!!!
Kathy
I love your new space!! What a cute pink pail on the desk
hee hee hee (mine is brown) Have fun in there creating!
Love the looks of you light and airy creating space! Mine is due a good cleaning but it seems to never be completely in order (too many deadlines, I guess-teeheeheee)! Wasn’t Seattle great fun!
Thanks for the inspiration. After seeing your drawer set from IKEA I had to go and get one for myself. I am really looking forward to putting my stamps in there. I think I might even organize them like you did in little boxes according to categories. They are currently organized that way because they are in small enough drawers that it works and I can just take the whole drawer out when I want to look for something. It won’t be that easy with such a huge drawer. Thanks again for the great inspiration!
