I’ve been playing around with the new Trees 1 and Trees 2 sets lately – they are really fun. Here’s a paper-pieced version I created. Something different than my normal look- more soft colors and lots of different patterns. I’m trying to branch out of my usual style- what do you think??
I used the Trees 2 set and tiny bird- one of my favorites. I used mini scallop scissors to create the ground (an idea I CASE’d from Rhonda a while back). I also added diamond glaze to the bird to give him some dimension. Because I colored him a darker blue, I didn’t needto cut him out- I could just color on top of the vintage blue paper. I used a Chiffon green notecard- another one I don’t use much, but I’m happy with the result.
