Happy 4th!

I made this card for two challenges- Heather’s weekly share your spark challenge (use red, white and blue), and the Amuseapalooza Polka Dot challenge.  I’ve been so busy preparing fun goodies for AP, as well as packing for vacation that I have had to combine challeges in order to be able to get to them all!

I saw this spiral daisy stamp in my LSS today when I went to drop off some of the fun things I’ve been making for AP.  This is one of those stamps that’s been on my wish list forever, so I decided to grab it.  I always love the cards I see people making with this stamp.  I decided to use it to make a fireworks background.  Yes, I’m sure it’s been done before, but it’s about all I had for the 4th of July ;)   I added stickles in the centers to make it look a little more like fireworks exploding.  Not sure if that had the desired effect, or made it look more like flowers- LOL.  I used the birthday builder set to add “happy 4th” and then went over the letters with my Copic Spica clear glitter pen for some more sparkle.

Just a few more days until I can share the fun AP cards with you – can’t wait!!

Enjoy!
