Here’s a card I made for my Dad for Father’s Day. He is an avid biker- I mean he LOVES it. So, when I was sitting down to decide what to make for his card, I knew I wanted to use the biker. The only challenge was getting rid of her pony tail. It wasn’t that hard, I just inked around it. I am pretty happy with the results, although it’s not my typical style for sure- I was going for more of the masculine look, you know?

I drew in the road, and used my Copics to color in some Doodlebug Paper Frills in brown to match.
This is a card I made for my grandfather. I used diamond glaze on the eyes for some pop.

The owls are from the Nature set, and the tree from the stitched garden set. I used the “happy” from the birthday builder set, and hand wrote father’s day at the bottom – kind of hard to see in this picture.
There’s still time to sign up for my class at The Paper Tree in Manchester NH on Monday, June 16th at 6:30pm. We’ll be making 5 A Muse cards and practicing our Copic marker techniques. I hope you can join us! To sign up for the class, call Michelle at The Paper Tree: (603) 624-8800.
