This is a card I designed for my upcoming Summer themed class at The Paper Tree on Sunday May 18th from 1-3pm. I hope you can join us for some fun while we make some A Muse cards and practice techniques for coloring with Copics!
This is a fun card for a BBQ, Father’s Day, or even just a quick note to a friend to see what’s up. As you can see, I used some shading on the BBQ image with my Copics. And, I’ve used Heather’s favorite orange and blue color combination again! I keep going back to that, but it’s a great combination for summer.

I popped the BBQ and the apron on foam dots for some more interest.
At first, I created this card……but my husband told me the bbq’s looked like eyes staring at him. Yikes! So, I came up with the version above instead
What do you think?? Now that he said that, I can’t seem to get it out of my head LOL!

I also used my Copics to color in my Doodlebug Designs Paper Frills to perfectly color coordinate – one of my favorite tricks.
I hope you can join us next Sunday! To sign up for the class, call Michelle at The Paper Tree: (603) 624-8800
Thanks for visiting!
